About The Life House Women's Shelter
Vision & Mission
To provide help and hope to women in need.
The Life House Women’s Shelter has been established and created with the intention of offering safe shelter, a warm meal, fellowship, and a starting point on the continuum of care for homeless women.

History
The Life House Women’s Shelter is a community collaborative that came by way of knowing the need of homeless women and knowing of a vacant home that was underutilized.
In November 2020 when it got so cold and women were coming to Pathways looking for a warm place to go (and there was none), an ask of this home (previously a maternity home) was made. Within 24 hours, the board answered "yes!" This was the first yes of many that have followed from supporters and community partners.
Just a short four weeks later, the doors of the home were opened four days before Christmas. Women were home for the holidays!

Values
Security, stability, and safety is the foundation of the ministry with the framework of love, grace, humility, and hospitality.

Overview
The continuum represents the four levels of support that guide the women we serve towards sufficiency and sustainability.
